Building muscle and size can be extremely frustrating especially for a skinny guy.  Struggling with self-esteem, confidence and playing sport are just a few reasons to why you need to learn howto gain weight.  This article discusses several solutions one might consider when faced with increasing muscle size.

Body weight exercises such as push-ups and chin-ups are extremely effective at building muscle.  In addition to body weight exercises you should start doing compound lifts. Compound lifts are ones that you need to use multiple joints and muscle groups and are some of the most effective at building muscle fast. The 3 most effective lifts you should focus on are squats, dead lifts, and bench press.

Diet is also extremely important when it comes to packing on muscle and size, and knowing what the best things to eat can be extremely confusing.  What you need to understand is that not all calories are created equal.  If you constantly fill up on crap, you will get crap results.  If you eat the optimal foods groups that enhance muscle development and proper abdominal exercising, you give your body the best chance of building muscle tissue.

If you want to gain muscle fast, the third important factor you must obey is getting enough rest.  Muscle growth does not occur when you are in the gym, it happens during the period of rest afterwards. You’ll need to allow enough time in between training your muscles to allow enough time for recovery and repair to maximize muscle growth.

To conclude, there are many factors to buildin muscle and getting rid of fat tummy. These include training with intensity (it’s not all about exercise volume), feeding your body the right nutrients it needs to build muscle and get rid tummy fat and making sure you allow sufficient time for recovery.  Knowing howto get a six pack will also add definition to your physique which will make your muscles stand out even more.  There is no point in having excellent muscles, but then having them covered up under a layer of fat.
